Love is the only thing in this world that covers up all the pain and makes us feel wonderful again.
Everyone says that love hurts, but that’s not true. Loneliness hurts. Rejection hurts. Losing someone hurts. Everyone confuse these things with love, but in reality, love is the only thing in this world that covers up all the pain and makes us feel wonderful again.
Just when I thought everything’s really about to end……
Beautiful bouquet of peach roses <3 His penmanship sucks but I forgot it after reading the letter… :’)
When you say you love someone, mean it. No matter how painful it gets. Sometimes, it may really be hard to accept each other’s flaws. Remember, nobody’s perfect. I believe God made it that way so we’d learn to appreciate :’)
Look, here’s the happy princess on a Monday night:
We’re going back to reality in less than 12 hours. Hope everyone had a great weekend with their loved ones, too.♥
Today is the first day of Long Weekend #1. Yes. I have to number it because as I have checked, there are 8 long weekends this year! Well, 9 for me. Hihi :)
So what’s with this day?
11th month at work (eCOM)
37th monthsary with PJ
Mom’s coming back home from Cavite after a 4-day vacation
I thought I’d have a date with my boyfriend today because it’s our monthsary. Well, it’s just a thought…
Picked up Mom at Araneta Center with my bro and Jetty this morning. Nabitin tuloy ako sa bed weather. Hehe. Went to SM City Marikina. Had lunch at Greenwich. Yummy Lasagna and Hawaiian Pizza, I missed.♥ (Forgot to take a picture so you’d drool. Hihi.) Since it’s still early and we had nothing to do, we decided to window shop, but we failed… Why? Here:
Fan of Maybelline New York? Hehe. Cos aside from the cheap price, everything there’s worth buying. So I realize it’s about time to update my makeup kit.
Clear Smooth Aqua Gel Foundation (24 True Beige), 349Php ─ This one’s water-based since I have oily skin on the face. I tried to use it and it really evens out skin tone :)
2-in-1 Impact Shadow Liner by Eyestudio (Black) ─ I got this months ago for only 350Php, if I’m not mistaken. This one’s creamy. Now, I prefer using this instead of my IN2IT Liquid Eyeliner Waterproof with Matte Finish (Nylon Hair Brush tip). I think this one’s better ü
Make up Remover for Eye and Lip, 99Php ─ I need this because it’s giving me a hard time removing my eyeliner/mascara using petroleum jelly/water. I used it and it instantly removes my eye makeup :D
Fashion 21 Blush Brush, 50Php (not in the picture) ─ I bought this in the meantime. Before, I used nylon brush and it just irritated my skin. (PS: My skin’s a bit sensitive.) This one’s soft and good for my Clear Smooth Shine-free Blush ;)
After having some DQ Sandwich, I passed by The Surplus Shop and saw this:
To be washed :)
I got this H&M blouse for only 349.75Php. This fits just right for me. It seldom happens that a blouse like this fits as if sinukatan ako. So I bought it :D I also saw a trendy winter coat but I didn’t focus much on it. I didn’t even bother to check the price… because as far as I’m concerned, I have no plans of going to Korea, Singapore, Hong Kong, Paris, New York, or anywhere else outside the country this year. Hmmm, maybe next year :)
“There’s really nothing like shopping to cheer you up.” ─ Lane Daniels, Beauty and the Briefcase
Shopping resumes on the third week of February :D Planning to go to thrift shops in Anonas, Trinoma, 168 (and the mall beside it) and Greenhills. Hihi. Bank account, get ready!!! :))))
Off to a meeting with my church friends in a bit. Then tomorrow, I’m going to see my college friends again in Papa John’s Tomas Morato.♥
And this is what happened to what I was cooking while doing this blogpost:
HAHAHAHAHA! Nakakahiya naman sa guest ko (Mommy) :s
Hope everyone had a great Saturday! 2 more days to go! Don’t waste it :) And it’s Sunday tomorrow, don’t forget to visit Him <3
“A successful marriage requires falling in love many times, always with the same person.”
Last Saturday, 14th day of 2012, I attended one of the most adorable weddings I’ve ever gone to so far. It’s Kuya RJay’s wedding. Kuya RJay is the elder brother of my boyfriend, PJ. He was supposed to get married last November but it was rescheduled; they only had around 2 months for the preparation but it didn’t show on the day itself :) The rites, presided by the monsignor, were held at the Our Lady of Peace and Good Voyage Church in Antipolo City, the groom’s hometown. The motiff was purple.
I was up early ‘cos I still had to travel to their house which is around 30-45 minutes away from mine. It’s past 9AM when I arrived. Everyone’s already dressed up. PJ was the Best Man and his ate was the Maid of Honor. The groom, together with the whole family, was still having a pictorial since the wedding was at 11AM. The reception was held at Rosalinda Garden Resort, a few minutes away from Antipolo Cathedral. It was amazing that drizzles aka “blessings from heaven” covered the area for a few minutes while one of the ninongs was giving his advices for the newly weds.
It was like a celebrity wedding. Click flash click flash click flash… Pictures here, there and everywhere. Did I mention that PJ belongs to a group of photographers in Antipolo since June? It’s called the Camera Club of Antipolo. ;) So instead of hiring outsiders, 7 of his incredible photographer friends were the ones who captured the moments, even the smallest details, from the house to the church to the reception. These photographers are really, really, really great, I won’t think twice of having them on my wedding, too.♥ And to prove, here are just some of the awesome wedding shots:
“Cause there’s something in the way you look at me… It’s as if my heart knows you’re the missing piece…” ♫♪
I’m excited to see all the pictures from all of them!ü
Yes. It was really a lovely Saturday for all of us, especially for the new Mr. and Mrs. Tolentino. I was glad to be part of one of the most important events in their family life. Hmmmm… Well, I wouldn’t mind being a part of their family, you know. Hihi :D
Just to share, being together for 3 years, it was actually the first time I saw PJ crying. Hehe. But that didn’t make me love him less… He just made me love him more for having the courage to show in public how much he loves and will miss his kuya :’)
On this day, I was wearing a white fitted sleeveless dress with black ruffles on the shoulder from Julia. I was wearing a black flat shoes from My Shoe Room. I couldn’t afford to wear my high-heeled shoes ‘cos I didn’t want to look taller than PJ. #tallgirlproblems
Oh, so this is my second post for this year, and I’m so inloooove.♥ Can you feel the kilig? Hihi.
Aktuwal na kuha ng pagsalpok ng isang truck sa isang Police substation (by gmanews)
5 months ago (Aug. 14, 2011), I got involved in a car accident. Ten-wheeler truck na nawalan ng preno, makita mong rumaragasa a few inches away from you… I’m an adventurous person but this near-death experience was actually not really great yet it had taught me a lot. Etong mga nadamay sa aksidenteng to, nananahimik lang na nagda-drive at nakatambay. You can never really tell when it’s already your ‘time’… Thank God for all the blessings whether big or small. Spend more quality time with your loved ones. Do what makes you happy. Take risks. Live life to the fullest. Dati pag nakakabasa ako ng ganito, iniisip ko kung bakit parang madali lang para sa kanilang sabihin to, pero after the incident, naisip ko totoo pala un. I learned to appreciate things more. After all, it’s what we really have to do to enjoy life.
Today is Friday the 13th. Sabi nila malas daw tong araw na to. Nakasalubong ng itim na pusa on your way to the office, na-late dahil sa traffic, naiwan ng shuttle, natapunan ng kape, na-stuck sa elevator, atbp… Think about the people who are victims of Sendong in CDO and Iligan. Hindi ba mas malas na sila simula December 16, 2011? Ipagdasal na lang natin sila, pati na rin ang mga sarili natin. Isipin mo na lang, swerte ka pa dahil yan lang ang nangyari sayo.
Live. Laugh. Love. Learn. It’s too never too late to do these things… It’s my first post for 2012… Have a great day :) ♥
I hope that this Christmas, we’ll learn to be contented with everything God has given us. I know He knows what He’s doing. I know He always wants what’s best for us. Sometimes, we may get hurt because of our expectations. Hmmm, I guess we just have to wait for the right moment to come… and I know it’ll be worth it.
2 days to go before Christmas! Have a great, great Friday, loves! ♥
“Top view. Side view. Bottom view. Kahit ano pang view, I love…view!” Natatandaan ko, eto ang pinakaunang pickup line na sinend mo sakin bago pa naging officially tayo 3 years ago. At sa sobrang dami na ng pickup lines ngayon, wala na akong maisip na iba… kundi ikaw.♥
