I was on leave at work today. It’s my younger brother’s Recognition Day! Went to his school which happens to be the same school I went to way back in high school…
With our Mommy.
With Ate :)
Mom making a bit of wacky-slash-Korean pose :D
So nice to be back to my Alma Mater…
Ate’s gift!
Rites ended at around 1PM. Went to Batasang Pambansa then Commission on Audit. After my agenda, we had late lunch at Max’s Restaurant.
This photo was taken today around 1:30PM on February 4, 2012.
This is my mom.
The parking area was already too far from the mall so we need to ride the shuttle. We enjoyed it while eating cotton candy and sipping Coffee Jelly frap :)

Last Saturday, 14th day of 2012, I attended one of the most adorable weddings I’ve ever gone to so far. It’s Kuya RJay’s wedding. Kuya RJay is the elder brother of my boyfriend, PJ. He was supposed to get married last November but it was rescheduled; they only had around 2 months for the preparation but it didn’t show on the day itself :) The rites, presided by the monsignor, were held at the Our Lady of Peace and Good Voyage Church in Antipolo City, the groom’s hometown. The motiff was purple.
I was up early ‘cos I still had to travel to their house which is around 30-45 minutes away from mine. It’s past 9AM when I arrived. Everyone’s already dressed up. PJ was the Best Man and his ate was the Maid of Honor. The groom, together with the whole family, was still having a pictorial since the wedding was at 11AM. The reception was held at Rosalinda Garden Resort, a few minutes away from Antipolo Cathedral. It was amazing that drizzles aka “blessings from heaven” covered the area for a few minutes while one of the ninongs was giving his advices for the newly weds.
It was like a celebrity wedding. Click flash click flash click flash… Pictures here, there and everywhere. Did I mention that PJ belongs to a group of photographers in Antipolo since June? It’s called the Camera Club of Antipolo. ;) So instead of hiring outsiders, 7 of his incredible photographer friends were the ones who captured the moments, even the smallest details, from the house to the church to the reception. These photographers are really, really, really great, I won’t think twice of having them on my wedding, too.♥ And to prove, here are just some of the awesome wedding shots:

I’m excited to see all the pictures from all of them!ü
Yes. It was really a lovely Saturday for all of us, especially for the new Mr. and Mrs. Tolentino. I was glad to be part of one of the most important events in their family life. Hmmmm… Well, I wouldn’t mind being a part of their family, you know. Hihi :D
Just to share, being together for 3 years, it was actually the first time I saw PJ crying. Hehe. But that didn’t make me love him less… He just made me love him more for having the courage to show in public how much he loves and will miss his kuya :’)
On this day, I was wearing a white fitted sleeveless dress with black ruffles on the shoulder from Julia. I was wearing a black flat shoes from My Shoe Room. I couldn’t afford to wear my high-heeled shoes ‘cos I didn’t want to look taller than PJ. #tallgirlproblems
Oh, so this is my second post for this year, and I’m so inloooove.♥ Can you feel the kilig? Hihi.
MY 23rd BIRTHDAY TURNED OUT TO BE EXTRA SPECIAL. THANK YOU SO MUCH <3
Hi.
My birthday has already ended but the smile on my face has not been erased yet. I still look like this: ^_____^ Kiddin’.
I started my day by hearing the Holy Mass. at 5:30AM. I was already in the church at 5AM with only a few people (like 10?). Haha. As part of the homily, the priest shared,
“With great power comes great responsibility.”
When you have something, it’s for you not to keep it but to share it with others. That’s what I’m doing.
When I came back from the church, my mom gave me her gift…
…a huge glass I’ve been dreaming of. Hahaha! It may sound mababaw but I always wanted to have this (actually, the set of 6, hehe). Great thing my mom still has a good memory, she didn’t miss it. Hihi :p
Before I left home for work (yes, I went to work even if it’s my birthday, why not?), my boyfriend sent me a link to this video on Youtube.
Yes, it’s really sweet…<3 After I watched it, I found him outside our house with the gift box and a box of cake in his hands. He kissed and greeted me “Happy Birthday”. :’)
I came to the office 9 minutes late, unfortunately, but the reason was worth it :D
Everyone greeted me at the office. One of my officemates even handed me this birthday card that really made me smile…
My immediate supervisor also gave me a pair of cute beaded bracelets wrapped in a paper box she made before I left :)
Got home around 6:30PM. My mom and I had some picture-taking moments: blowing of candles and slicing of cake. Hihi.
I was excited to open my boyfriend’s gift to me. He gave me an Ozaki iMini Cute and a Triple Chocolate Cake roll. Both I told him I wanted to have for n times :’)
After planning for a loooong time, finally, I, together with my milk tea buddies (Soph, Dimple and Franz) and PJ, was able to experience milk tea in the newly-opened Moonleaf Tea Shop in Marikina (in front of OLOPSC). This served as my birthday treat to them.
I missed this. Wintermelon Milk Tea with Pearls is L-O-V-E.<3
Gifts from them! Animal prints, they know I love.♥
Right after the milk tea party, I went to a friend’s house as he was asking me to “help” him make another movie for an important person in his life. Then, I knew there was a surprised birthday party for me from my Eco-DMT family :)
If you’re my friend on Facebook, you may view all the pictures here.
IT WAS INDEED A WONDERFUL DAY FULL OF BLESSINGS.
Let me use this blog post to thank everyone for all the birthday greetings (through SMS, phone call, IM, tweets, Wall posts), prayers, wishes and gifts. I am very much glad to know that there are a lot of people who truly love me.<3<3<3
Walang na-grant sa kahit anong item sa birthday wishlist ko, pero if you’re gonna ask me, “Musta birthday?” I’ll still say, “MASAYA. Sobrang saya… dahil sa kanila.” ♥
To my family, boyfriend, Eco-DMT family, relatives, friends, officemates and everyone, you just made a good deed ─ you made one soul happy. MY soul.
Secret to a happy life: Just make God your bestest friend, and you’ll never have to worry about anything.
This photo was taken on September 20, 2011. What was the cake with lighted candles for? It’s my Mom and niece’s birthday!
On the picture (from top left): Alex, my elder brother; Nikki, my preggy sister-in-law; Aya, my niece; Mom; Marc, my younger brother; and yours truly <3 My dad was not here as he is currently based in Zamboanga. Hopefully he’ll be here on his 54th birthday, which will be on October 28th :’)
